Every year, on 8/8, we celebrate the peak of the Lion’s Gate portal activation, and 2026 is no exception. Between the months of July and August, Fixed Star Sirius, also known as our Spiritual Sun, the brightest star in the sky, rises in close proximity to the Sun. In Ancient Egypt, the heliacal rising of Sirius, its reappearance above the eastern horizon after a period of invisibility, signaled the return of the Nile’s waters and marked the start of the Egyptian New Year. This event is widely mentioned in myths and, back then, it was celebrated as a moment of rebirth, renewal, and abundance, as the water nourished the land, allowing food to grow.

The Lion’s Gate Portal energy is powerful, but it is there for us to use to celebrate the rebirth and return of our spirit energy.
